What is your mission?

We empower artists to share their visions with the world. Brian (@art.from.seattle) is an avid art student and considers Styled Art as his contribution to the art community.

How do I try Styled Art?

Styled Art is in the incubation mode and not available to the general public. The development has not started, but we are evaluating technologies. If you would like to try Styled Art when it becomes available, please join the waiting list using the form on this page.

How much does it cost?

We are working on the pricing model. We anticipate two types of users on our platform: artists and image consumers. There are no fees for an artist to join Styled Art. Image consumers will be required to pay a per-image fee or purchase a subscription.

Do you have more details on the app?

Artists participate by signing up with Styled Art. Once an artist application is approved, there are two ways an artist would use Styled Art.

• 1. Upload an image to apply AI protection for a private download. This is the recommended method if you intend to upload AI-protected images to somewhere else like Instagram.
• 2. Once AI protection is applied using method #1, mark the copy protected image public to allow others to generate images in your artistic style and collect licensing fees.

Image consumers would sign up with Styled Art as well. Image generation process is simple. You select an artist you like, give AI prompts and images!

How does the copy protection work?

The copy protection works by inserting visually undetectable data to an image that would cause the existing generative AI to produce meaningless output. This is an active area of academic research, and we hope to leverage existing innovations and improve on them.

How good is copy protection?

This is an active area of academic research. And it is difficult to guarantee copy protection quality long term. As of this writing, the copy protection has not been broken.

Can somebody generate or steal images to use as inputs to other AIs?

Image consumers can only view and download copy protected images.

When and where are original images without copy protection used?

The use of original images without copy protection ("original image") is required but limited. All copies of images will be encrypted in transit, stored only on Styled Art servers and discarded as soon as they are no longer required. No image consumers will have access to images without copy protection. More specifically,

• 1. An original image is required to apply copy protection. This process is performed privately on Styled Art servers. If an image is not made public on Styled Art, all data will be destroyed once the artists signs out of the system. If an image is made public on Styled art, the original image will be used to train AI models; see below. However, image consumers will have access to copy protected version of the original image.
• 2. The original image is required to train AI models to generate images in a specific style. AI model training is performed on Styled Art servers. Once AI models are trained, original images are not required and will be deleted securely. The trained AI models do not contain any original artworks. No image consumers will have access to any part of the process.
